Trieste is a small hillside, and seaside, city in northern Italy that is literally on the border to Slovenia which boasts white stone buildings and streets with some of the best gelato I've ever eaten in my life.

Just south east of Trieste is the little known, incredibly small town of Ronchi. Ronchi's most defining feature is the many, many different cliffside beaches you'll find all through the coast on your way to Trieste. Not to mention an amazing castle called Castello di Miramare.

Augustów is a resort town in northeastern Poland, it is known as the 'land of a thousand lakes' and for its therapeutic spas. There are infinite restaurants and outdoor activities to make you never want to leave.
