Local Foods Upper Kirby
My favorite restaurant in Houston. I'm obsessed with all of their salads and sandwiches, especially the Crunchy Chicken Sandwich. I love that they use local ingredients!

Ono Poke
I still love the Poke-Craze that's taking over! Ono has always been my go-to poke spot. The ingredients, mixed with the chill ambience, makes it the perfect place for lunch.

The Kitchen at The Dunlavy
The Dunlavy serves up amazing brunch dishes with the most beautiful view. This is the definition of a pretty restaurant, including the food. They have great smoothies, sandwiches, and brunch-y dishes like avocado toast.

Torchy's Tacos
Torchy's has some of the best--and most unique--tacos in the city. My favorites include fried avocado, The Independent, and the classic chicken fajita. When I'm not craving tacos, I still hit up Torchys for their amazing Street Corn and their queso!
