Tonsai Bay Resort
Perfect spot for some secluded beach romance and rock climbing. One of my fave spots in Thailand, only accessible by long-boat and thus relatively uncrowded and far less touristy than nearby Raily Beach. Perfect spot if you're into rock climbing or want to try it out - you can of course also just watch the pros climb the steep cliffs and basejump down to the beach. Lot's of monkey's to see in the forest and a very forthcoming crowd of locals that will most definitely invite you to join one of their football matches at the beach.

Ko Phi Phi Don
From Tonsay you can walk over to Raily Beach (go early in the morning as you can only walk there on low-tide - no heavy luggage recommended, if you carry a suitcase better take the long boat). From Railay there is boat service to Kho Phi Phi. When arrived, don't miss the view from the lookout (it's worth the hike!) unfortunately nearby Maya Bay is no longer accessible as a consequences of the mass tourism to the famous "The Beach"

Ko Pha Ngan
You have 2 options to get from Kho Phi Phi to Kho Pha-ngan. Either take the night boat (many people get sea sick though) or take a boat to Krabi Town. Spend the night and enjoy the night market there. Get a Speed Boat to Kho Pha-ngan the next morning (recommended option). In Kho Pha-ngan there is of course the famous full moon party. Don't miss out on the rest of the Island though. Best to rent a scooter and drive around!

Thailand's dive capitol is probably one of the best and inexpensive places to learn diving. Go for one of the smaller dive school as they usually have smaller groups (we went with Phoenix Divers and did not regret our choice). Other than that there is great snorkeling (especially in the north) and loads of laid-back bars and restaurants at the beach front. If you think you can handle it's also a good place to try and learn some Muay Thai.

Ko Samui
Often considered "too touristy" (esp. by the backpacker community), however by far the most accessible (mostly due to it having an airport) and offering some of the most luxurious resorts and island retreats. Definitely the place for a relaxed beach vacation.
