Black's Beach
If you find the right entrance in La Jolla in the neighboring areas by UCSD, you'll find yourself on an adventure of a hike to reach the beach. Plank bridges, narrow carved out stone zig zags, and a rope to backtrack your way down the last bit of mountainside al await those who seek an adventure to the beach. Just remember, there are some cooks out there who approach it barefoot and carrying surfboards.

Sunset Cliffs
I've found that if literally anything is getting me down, the problem can always be solved by going to Sunset Cliffs. Miles of coastline in Ocean Beach, it's the absolute perfect place to watch a full 30minutes of the sun sinking below the horizon. Even if t's not at sunset, the sound of the waves crashing, the jagged natural rock formations and the surfers along the coast will have you feeling at ease.

Lestat's Hillcrest
More than what meets the eye from the outside, L'estats café is full of flavor filled drinks, baked goods, and a working space unlike any other. The main room is filled with mismatching upholstered furniture appearing as if it were pulled straight out of the 19th century.
