Cuthbert's Bakehouse
If you can manage to walk just slightly outside the city centre away from the hustle and bustle (approximately a 10-15 minute walk from Liverpool Central Station) you will not be disappointed by the treats on offer at Cuthberts Bakehouse. Not just offering a tradtional afternoon tea, try the 'new yorker' which features mini burgers and hot dogs amongst other classic american delights. The 'Rise and shine brunch' is the ideal cure for a hangover.

Liverpool Empire
A new musical every couple of weeks, usually touring from the West End. It's a great way to see one of your favourite shows at half the London prices. Beautiful theatre within 5 minutes walking distance of Liverpool Lime Street Station. Many of the nearby restaurants will offer a 'pre-theatre menu' which you can take advantage of prior to seeing a show.

Hot Water Comedy Club, Liverpool
One of our favourite things to do in Liverpool as the MC; Paul Smith is one of the funniest comedian's around. Outrageous and guaranteed to have you laughing every minute you're there, it's a great way to see newcomers as well as well established comedians on the UK comedy circuit. Even better, most nights of the week, the comedy club is free (with tickets available online).

Silent Disco Dancing City Tours
www.silentadventures.co.uk Incredibly fun way to see the city whilst having a giggle. The guide is super enthusiastic and you are provided with headphones which play a variety of well-known tracks as you head off in a large group around Liverpool. The guide will have you all singing your hearts out and dancing around unsuspecting locals, which makes for a highly amusing hour if you let yourself go a bit.
