The Yard Gastropub
The Yard. I don’t know where to start other than unbelievable!! These are the best sandwiches in Pittsburgh. They are grilled cheese sandwiches with everything possible you can think of on them! The Mac attack is one of the most ordered and it will give you an attack with the loaded bacon Mac n cheese on the grilled cheese sandwich.

Primanti Bros.
Primanti Brothers is what Pittsburgh is known for here. They are the sandwiches with a specific meat, then tomato, coleslaw, and fries all ON the “sammich”. You have not been to Pittsburgh if you have not tried out primate’s. It is the place to be- more of a laid back bar type place.

The Urban Tap
Urban Tap has some of the best burgers/sandwiches you can find! They vary from all different kinds, but the best thing is you will not leave there being hungry. The atmosphere is lively and the menu is great. One of my favorite go to places when I can not decide where to go for dinner.

Stack'd
Stack’d will get you stacked up with their burgers! You can customize any type of burger you wish, from bun to meat to toppings. There are already burgers that they recommend which is typically what I end up going for. Oh, and the milkshakes are a essential to get with your meal.

Social
Social is not too fancy of a place, but right in bakery square which is a cute little place to walk around and shop! Social gets crowded most times because of its location. Their chicken and waffles are the best I have still yet to ever have. The waffle has a hint of a cinnamon taste, stuffed with boneless fried chicken and a maple cream sauces. Truly fanstastic- you will want to order another.

Butterjoint
The Butterjoint has a solid burger, that they stamp. It is called the fancy burger, and they take a stamp and when it is served, and on the top bun displays “fancy”! A great picture to have for the food account!

Emporio: A Meatball Joint
This place is known for their third floor rooftop bar in the warmer months. The Italian food (meatballs are outstanding). Thus, the meatball sandwiches here are very common. You get to pick your preferred type of meatball and then sauces to go on top of it!

Bird On The Run
Bird on the Run is as it seems, you can take a bird on the run. It reminds me of a Chick Fil A sandwich overall. More homemade and cooked to your liking on sauces and condiments to get topped off with. A good snack to have on the go!!

Peppi's
Peppi’s is also located in the Strip District and has been around for a long time now. This sandwich place is a classic hoagie shop, small, yet so satisfying. You get to choose between endless amounts of lunchmeat and cheeses it seems like and then there is your thick hoagie!
