La Gourmandine
My favorite bakery of all time. You need to make this one of your first stops! It is a small French Bakery that has all homemade pasteries. Their Croissants Aux Amandes is what they are known for, and let me tell you I could eat 5 right there on the spot. Amazing texture and all!

Coca Café
Cocoa Cafe is a cute little Cafe, that has a great atmosphere. I love how it is so enlightening inside! Their waffles are some of the best I’ve had. In addition, they just have a great overall menu incorporating various different options that you wouldn’t see at any typical cafe.

Square Cafe
Square Cafe has breakfast bowls, which is something I never see when I got to other restaurants. They are composed of typically a bunch of vegetables, then topped with an egg. Their lemon ricotta pancakes are a huge hit, along with the asiago mushroom crepe! You can’t go wrong here with a solid brunch.

Caffé Mona
Okay, for real best crepe ever. It will melt in your mouth. The savory ones are good as well, but the sweet crepes blow any crepe you’ve ever eaten out of the park. Truly unreal; stuffed with nutella, caramel, cream cheese, and walnuts. It actually melts right in your mouth!

Geppetto Cafe
This is more of a trendy style cafe 100%. It is quite colorful and super cute for those that love the artsy pictures! At Gepetto the menu is more commonly paired with unusual breakfast combinations. For example, French toast with raspberries and goat cheese or the banana walnut crepes with a sweet creme! If you’re willing to go out of your comfort zone you must go!

Cafe Moulin
Cafe Moulin is located in a more upscale town surrounded with high end shops and boutiques. They are known for their traditional French crepes. Great tasting, and the stuffed French toast is quite delicious.

Jean-Marc Chatellier's French Bakery
Jean Marc’s is a tiny, family owned bakery. Not some place you can sit and eat, but their French danishes are worth stopping by! Even better when you heat them up before eating!

Adda Coffee & Tea House
This coffee shop is simple, yet aesthetically pleasing. A great place to sit, relax and enjoy a cup of coffee and if hungry a side little snack.

Cafe Raymond
The one thing about Cafe Raymond I really like is that they have a balcony you can go and sit at over the summer months. It over looks the whole Strip District, which is our cultural street packed with endless ethnic restaurants and grocery stores! A great place to go and walk around and enjoy people watching. Grilled cheese is a good choice here.

Salúd Juicery Shadyside
Salud Juicery is a newer place. Yet, it has become popular over the few years for making health taste good! They have the big acai bowls, filled with your choice of fruit and seeds! The smoothies and juices are very good as well. It makes you feel like your having dessert, just way better for you!
