Banaue
Banaue Rice Terraces are a must see! Over 2,000 years old and carved into the mountains by the indigenous Filipino people. You can walk along the terraces and meet the people who still live there.

Manila
Manila has been changing over the years. It is a metropolis and the capital of the Philippines. It is a must visit but there is a lot of pickpockets, pollution and homeless that breaks my heart. The good parts of Manila are the history, oldest Chinatown in the world and the forward moving epicurean scene.

Taal Volcano
A lake inside of a volcano inside of a lake- that’s Taal Volcano! In order to get to the volcano you need to take a boat across the lake. From there you can hike to the top and see the lake inside the volcano. My ex hit a golf ball into the volcano which he thought was pretty cool!
