Louches
I love this town! It is a sweet little village with a Monet painting like feel to it. The town is great for walking and has a nice castle on a hill. Walk around and check out the little houses with their beautiful gardens.

Omaha Beach
It is hard to believe that last century so many lives were lost on this beach. Currently, it is quite peaceful but has a lingering feeling of somberness.

Normandy D-Day Tours France
There are several ways to visit the beaches of Normandy. You can drive, public transport or drive. I recommend taking a tour so you can get a better feel for this important historical site. The added told history of where battles took place is best with a guide.

Rouen
This is a city not to miss! The cathedral in Rouen was one of Monet’s inspirations and he stayed in apartments across the way to paint it. Rouen is also where Joan of Arc was put to death and there is a memorial of where she was burned. There is a lot of history to this beautiful city and a lovely place to walk around.

Another location that is on every traveler’s hot list! Mont Saint Michel is a monastery with a historic past. The walk up to the monastery is full of little shops with metal hanging signs. The views from the top are worth the climb!
