You can either make it a day hike or take the easy way up by teleferry. It has a beautiful view of the city and even a zoo.

Barrio Lastarria
One of my favorite places to visit due to the artisan fair that is there during the day, the Cuartet that sings, and the great number of restaurants available.

Bellavista
This is where the nightlife of Santiago is at. A couple of blocks of bars/pubs/ and restaurants. You must be carefull with your personal belongings here since it's very common for tourists to get pickpocketed.

Memory and Tolerance Museum
my favorite museum I have visited during my time in Santiago. It's very eye-opening to see see the terrible things that happend during Pinochet's dictatorship. Here there are video documentaries of those who survived the torturings of the military regime.

Maipo Valley Wine Tours
Chile is known for the Carmenere wine. Wine tours are the best because you get to learn about the whole process of the wine making business. Here, the vineyards are very decorative for touristic purposes and have many gardens.
