The world's most arid dessert is found in the North side of Chile. The dunes and sand formations found are are like no other I have ever seen. Definetly something out of a Star Wars movie.

A small beach town a couple of hours away from Santiago. Definetly one of the most colorful places I have ever visited. The Murals on the wall are very beautifully created. Be prepared to walk a lot between the hills (since everything is at the top of them). The two most famous cerros are Cerro Concepcion and Cerro Alegre.

Viña del Mar, Valparaiso Region

Has a really nice beach (nothing compared to the beaches in California but still decent) and is home to one of Chile's biggest music festivals.

Magallanes y la Antártica Chilena Region, Chile

Torres del Paine National Park

Part of the Chilean Patagonia and definetly a must see if you are in Chile. There are many hiking options while here and you can even stay inside the park in order to be able to do the full W Trek. You have to reserve your camping spots/hotels way in advanced though so make sure to plan this part of your trip way ahead of time! Also bring the right hiking equipment to avoid any bruising/blisters along the way.

Chile's capital! It's a pretty expensive place to visit compared to other Latin American cities. I recommend staying in Santiago for a week max.
