Belgrade Fortress
Belgrade Fortress sits on top of a hill with beautiful views of the city and two rivers. The Danbue and Save Rivers meet below the castle. The remains of the castle still stand strong and is located in the oldest section of Belgrade. It is worth the trek to see the castle and catch a wonderful view of the city.

Stari Grad
The heart and soul of Belgrade can be felt in Old Town. You will know that you are there when the atmosphere changes to cobble stone streets and century old buildings. Stari Grad is one the most charming neighborhoods of Belgrade besides Zemun. There are cafes, restaurants and nice shopping here. It is worth the visit while in the capital city of Belgrade.

Kalemegdan Park
If you make it to Belgrade Fortress, you will eventually find yourself at Kalmegdan Park. This lovely park overlooks the city and sits next to the fortress. There are plenty of ways to relax in this park from taking a stroll, checking out the views of the rivers or having a picnic. This is a multi-generational park so there are playgrounds, sports fields and chess tables. It is a great spot to unwind after a day and watch the sunset.

Gardoš
Gardos Tower is a memorial tower that sits high on the hill of the old Zemnun neigborhood. To get there is the best part as you climb winding steps through one of the oldest neighborhoods of Belgrade. Once you get to the tower there are beautiful views below and a restaurant.

Liberty Square
Like every town center square, this is where you find the heart of the a city. Liberty Square is Novi Sad's main square and has major charm factor. When I was in Novi Sad there was a market happening in the center with food vendors, shopping and souvenirs. There is also a big cafe scene here in Liberty Square and you will find coffee cafes, pizza, restaurants, bars, etc.
