Stanley Restaurant
Start your day with this cute cafe right in Jackson Square! They do a more modern take on some of the traditional dishes in Louisiana. Oh, and all day breakfast! My go-to is the Breaux Bridge Benedict, with a Stanley Screamer.

Bambi DeVille Vintage Clothing & Bakelitelady
Located right in the French quarter, my favorite place to go for real vintage from the 30’s-80’s. Bambi, the owner, travels to collect all the pieces in her store so there is something for everyone. Each piece I’ve bought from there feels like small treasure.

Frenchmen Street
After being in New Orleans a few times some locals told me I should go to Frenchman Street. Frenchman Street is a more authentic Louisiana vibe than everyones go-to Bourbon Street. If you enjoy a more stereotypical rowdy crowd by all means you’ll enjoy Burbon St. If hopping in and out of live jazz clubs, and great restaurants sounds more appealing take a stroll down Frenchman Street.

The Spotted Cat Music Club
A small jazz bar with a lively, yet, intimate setting. A great place to hear some local musicians. A favorite of travelers and locals alike!

Lafitte's Blacksmith Shop Bar
A dive bar with some history! Supposedly this place is the oldest structure to be used as a bar in the U.S.A. and it definitely looks it! Great drinks away from the chaos of Bourbon St.

Jackson Square
A historic park right in the heart of the French quarter. A great place to take a breather, look at the St. Louis Cathedral, or walk a few steps over and see the Mississippi River.

Cafe Du Monde
One of the “Must Sees” of New Orleans is a very old 24 hour coffee shop, whether youre starting or ending a night you can do it here with a hot cup of cafe au lait and some fluffy beignets.
