🍴 VANA TO OPEN SECOND LOCATION: South End hotspot Vana announced that they will be opening up a second location in Cornelius in 2022. The location will have an outdoor bar/patio and the menu will be focused on craft cocktails and rustic cuisine

🌮 NEW RESTAURANT: Charlotte will soon be home to the state’s first Condado Tacos — a build-your-own and specialty tacos chain. The restaurant, known for its dips, tacos and margaritas, will open in South End in May of 2022. The restaurant will feature both indoor and outdoor seating and will offer dine in, to go, delivery and catering services. One of the signature features of Condados Tacos is its use of local artists to create a unique graffiti mural for each location.

🍻 BLACK-OWNED BREWERY: Atlanta-based Hippin Hops brewery is coming to Charlotte next summer. By the end of 2022, Charlotte will have two black-owned breweries (right now there are none). Hippin Hops will also serve gourmet burgers
