The Coolest Day Trips From Barcelona
by mikayla
One of my favorite parts about Barcelona was how many cool places that we were able to easily travel to outside of the city. You truly will not ever get bored here because it’s impossible to run out of new places to explore. Don’t miss out on some of these hidden gems while you’re in town because they will take your breath away.

If you are feeling like adding another country to your list then you can easily make a day trip into Andorra via a bus company. Depending on the season you go, this is a great place to snowboard/ski and it also has the biggest indoor spa in all of Europe. (Let me know if you need the name of the bus company to use)

Tossa de Mar
By far my favorite day trip that we made from Barcelona and not that many people know about it so it is still a hidden gem in a sense. It is extremely easy to get to via a bus company that didn’t cost anymore than $25 round trip. The town has gorgeous scenery/views and a cool local beach with a castle right beside it. This place will truly take your breath away and leave you speechless. (If you need help with this then shoot me a text or facebook message)

If you are a Game of Thrones fan then this is the place to be. The season 6 “shame” scene was shot here and it is incredible to actually see in person.

“The gay town of Catalonia” is what it is known for but it is a beautiful small beach town right outside of Barcelona that is well worth the day trip especially during Carnival in the Spring.

The Salvador Dali Museum is about the only cool thing here, otherwise you might find yourself here because it is how you get from Barcelona to Cadaques and vice versa.

Montserrat
Insanely beautiful Monastery and hiking trails way up into the mountains. You have to start your day early in order to make it here and back within one day because there are limited train times. Costs about 30 euros round trip.

Cadaqués
It is know as the Greece of Spain and it is absolutely stunning. A town painted completely white, right on the coast of Spain and extremely close to the French border. (Same goes for this trip if you need help)
