Simply Gourmet
Home of famouse 46 sandwiches (named after the 46 high peaks of the Adirondacks) and 5 amazing house-made deli roll choices; hearth, caramelized onion, rosemary garlic, and basil pesto. I love number 32 (house-made balsamic dressing, basil, tomato and mozzerella) on basil pesto bread.

Keene Valley Ausable Inn
I haven't found a place that tops their French onion soup yet. Hikers and travelers can bunk upstairs and go out the next morning to nearby trails.

The Good Bite Kitchen
A prime destination for vegetarian food lovers, located on Main street in Lake Placid. I like to get one their bowls to go in a box and eat down by Mirror Lake.

Lisa G's
"Casual dining with a twist", where comfort food meets modern fusion. They are famous for their wing nights on Mondays, but if you don't eat meat, they also offer crave-worthy vegetarian options; like morocan nachos with chickpeas, spinach, roasted red peppers, sour cream, scallions, pickled jalapenos, feta and cheddar.

Main Street
Stroll around Main Street by mirror lake and enjoy the view of the Adirondack mountains, in Lake Placid, NY. There are many shops and restaurants you can hide out in to stay warm.
