Clavel

Clavel is a mezcaleria and taqueria in the Remington neighborhood. The don't take reservations and you can spend a long time waiting to get in, but the food and drinks are worth the wait. Mezcal is my new favorite beverage of choice thanks to Clavel. Try the mezcal tasting flight to get a quick introduction. On the food side, everything is amazing! You have to order the Queso Fundido! It comes out bubbly and warm with housemade chips. All the mains like tacos and quesadillas are delicious and they have the best Tres Leches Cake in Baltimore.

Tortilleria Sinaloa

A hole in the wall that sells authentic Mexican cuisine. The space is standing room only save for a few seats at the window bar and you order at the counter. They make the best chips and guacamole in Baltimore. It's truly amazing. Get a quesadille or tamale to complete the perfect meal.

La Calle is the new kid in town, serving modern mexican cuisine. You have to order the Queso Frito con Cilantro, but you really can't go wrong with any of their asmall bits or tacos.

Papi's Tacos

Papi's Tacos is where you go for your TexMex in Baltimore. They have some authentic dishes but you can also get your burritto and nachos fix. They make amazing Margarites, so don't miss happy hour!
