Paulie Gee's Hampden

Paulie Gee's is my go to for pizza. Everything that comes out of their wood-fired oven is amazing. They have a HUGE selection of pizza combinations. They also offer the most vegan pizza selections I've ever seen. I like to walk through the main dining room and hang out in the hunting lodge themed secret back bar. The ingredients are all locally sourced so they might not always have the pie you had last time but if possible you need to try Ricotta Be Kidding me.

Matthew's Pizzeria

Matthew's wins best pizza every time Baltimore has a contest. They've earned it, their pizza is great. They offer regular and deep dish pizzas. They don't offer many pre-made pizza combinations, but the ones they do have, like the crab pizza, are amazing. I'm happy ordering a Both Cheese Pie with ham and pineapple added.

Isabella's Pizza

Isabella's not only has great pizza, but their subs a good too. I recommend the Pizza Bianca. It has Dolce Ricotta, Fresh Mozz, Feta, Garlic, and Herbs and it is AMAZING!

Zella's Pizzeria

Zella's is a great pizza place hiding on the west side of Baltimore. I love to order the classic Margarita Pizza. They have a lot of offerings on their menu, the Meatball Calzone is also delicious. The space itself is super eclectic, the restaurant often exhibits pieces by local artists.

Piazza 27 Baltimore

Piazza 27 is the closests you will come to authentic NY Style pizza. I say close, you still need to go to NYC to get the perfect slice but this will suffice while you are in Baltimore.
