Born in Venice Beach, the OG coffee roaster Groundwork Coffee had humble beginnings as a small homegrown coffee spot that also sold books. However, after the shop’s popularity grew among local coffee fanatics, the shop ditched selling books and moved on to set up multiple locations throughout Los Angeles and Portland.
