There is no easy or direct public transport available to reach this small city from Amsterdam. But the journey is worthwhile. It has almost no cars and the main mode of transportation in the city is boats and cycles. The houses around the canals are beautiful and have a unique roof made up of a local grass. Something different to see and experience!
