First Friday Las Vegas
First Friday celebrates Las Vegas’s local art community, music, food, and all that is Vegas, by shutting down a few blocks in the art district (yes, Vegas has an art district), and lining the streets with booths of local art, food trucks, and a music stage.

Springs Preserve
It’s easy to view the desert landscape as monolithic, but a trip to the Springs Preserve might just change your outlook. With a range of tours, educational programs and special events, the Springs Preserve shows visitors that there’s an abundance of beauty in the desert. Take a stroll through the garden for free, and you might even find a new angle of the Strip for your Instagram feed.

Downtown Container Park
by the 40-foot tall, fire-breathing praying mantis out front. Even if you’re not in the mood for shopping, the Container Park is genuinely a great place to be. Oh, and the best part, in the center of the complex there is a massive treehouse playground for kids and adults—so don’t be afraid to take your turn on the slide.
