Rocky Mountain National Park
Only 1-1/2 hours from Denver is Rocky Mountain National Park. Needless to say, what waits at the end of the journey is well worth the drive. Even though a plethora of photographic opportunities can be found from the moment you enter the park, the hidden gems of the site can actually be found up a 9-mile path.

Pedal The Plains
Although few people from Denver even venture toward the Eastern part of the state except to get to a specific destination beyond, it’s got a beauty all it’s own. Many photographers from beginners to advanced soon find that night-time in the area is magical.

Blue Lakes
The Rockies aren’t the only mountains in Colorado worth visiting. Just outside of Denver are the San Juan Mountains which are filled with beautiful scenery and natural wonders.

Denver Botanic Gardens
Denver’s Botanic Gardens is located in three locations and includes themed gardens, a glass conservatory and a below ground amphitheater. In East Denver are the formal gardens located on York Street. They include 7 gardens ranging from plants indigenous to Colorado to the Mordecai Children’s Garden where families with young children will find play areas designed especially for them

the Mural Mile set a Guinness World Record for the longest continuous mural in the world. It was actually created by artists from the local university and, just like throughout the city, is a never-ending project. Photos are a great way to study the work over time.
