Mg Patisserie and Cafe
This place takes the cake... literally! I am a huge fan for lovely little desserts with a European flair. MG Patisserie is just that, a lovely café offering lovely little desserts. Michael the owner has journeyed quite far from his home in Burgundy, France to create divine pastries for us Vegas locals. I tasted several different creations with a couple of friends and all of them were incredible. The Crème Brulee is very light in texture and quite creamy, I enjoyed it very much. I am a fan of the cheesecake because there are graham crumbs on top so you do not have to dig up the crust for added texture. The creaminess of the cheesecake is very light and nice as well. The chocolate creations are very delicious but my favorite was the large pink macaron with vanilla filling. Everything about this delicious pink cookie was wonderful from the texture to the filling. I am in love with this place.

True Food Kitchen
I have always loved the concept of healthy and fresh ingredients in my food and drinks. The Smashed Avocado Toast is good especially if you like arugula. I am a huge fan of those greens and can eat it with anything. So yes, I am a fan of their arugula layered Avo Toast! The Fig and Gorgonzola Flat Bread is delicious here as well and a great starter to share or a meal in itself. I also tried their Prairie Mary which is their take of a Bloody Mary. I thought is was quite good and recommend it to those Bloody Mary fans such as I! Happy Eats!

Saint Honoré Doughnuts & Beignets
Oh Lordy! I thought I was 'Extra'! These donuts have me totally beat! I had come into Saint Honore with a pretty full stomach since I had just finished brunching with some lovely ladies. We decided to strut across the parking lot to Saint Honore to check out those instagramable donuts. When I first glanced at those beautiful looking creatures (the donuts) I lost contact with reality. I seriously zoned out and asked the young lady behind the counter to repeat herself. Visually these donuts are beautiful! I chose a couple of donuts to take home- the La Grande Dame and the Pont Alexandre. If I was not so full, I probably would have also tried the maple donut and a couple of beignets. I truly have no shame! As for the donuts I thought they were lovely especially the La Grande Dame. I enjoyed the lightness of it although it looks smothered in pink icing. The donut itself was not heavy and the sweetness was perfect for my palate. Now the Pont Alexandre was another story! I pulled it out of the box and thought it was much heavier than the Rose Champagne pink donut. Well it was fully filled with cream. I should have realized that and being a donut without a hole that usually means it is filled. The filling was not bad, there was just a lot of it. I had to eat around the cream filling because it overpowered the donut. I will say that the rest of the donut was delicious though! I loved the donut itself, the vanilla bean icing and the candied pecans were amazing.

Toasted Gastrobrunch
Toasted Gastrobrunch has a wonderful menu! There were many delicious choices that a couple of the girls ordered two dishes each. The servings are a decent size so the extra pancakes and the Coconut Pistachio Kanafee were shared amongst the table. Thank you ladies- Sharing is Caring! I ordered the Lobster Avocado Toast which was the best of two worlds that I love- Avo toast and lobster! So delicious and not over the top, I definitely recommend that. I also started and finished with a couple of their cocktails, a White Peach Bellini and Lavender Lemonade Mimosa. Although both were lovely, I preferred the lavender one. It was nice that they also offered light morning cocktails. I was very excited to try the Coconut Pistachio Kanaffe. The first time I had kanaffe was while traveling in the Middle East several years ago. It is a traditional dessert in that region. I have seen it here and there at small bakeries in the US but to see kanaffe glorified in such a beautiful way as Toasted Gastrobrunch was amazing. It is definitely worth ordering for yourself or to share!

Broken Yolk Cafe
This friendly and delicious restaurant has an outstanding menu of cocktails and breakfast-brunch-lunch items. In my mind that makes the best combination when brunching with friends. We ordered a variety of dishes and drinks, all which were hearty and tasty. I personally ordered the Bloody Mary that came with a waffle, bacon and olive pick. Love the combo of a bit of sweet and savory in my morning booze! I also ordered the Monte Cristo which has been a go to of mine since I was about 15 years old. That was a very long time ago and when I see one on the menu, I typically order it. The Monte Cristo was quite delicious and filling. There are plenty of options here, something for everyone!

La Strega
What a perfect place for brunch or dinner! La Strega is a lovely upscale Italian restaurant serving wonderful dishes and drinks. The cocktails are divine such as their Appolonia, Birra Branzo, Sofia and Abigail. As for the food, I can honestly say that the Nigerian Prawns and the Hanger Steak Insalata are my favorites and I highly recommend them. The Crab Fritti, Short Rib Sparpinocc or Eggs in Purgatory are also good. Amazing food, cocktails and ambiance- how perfect!

I am a sucker for a good breakfast sandwich and you can build it the way you want. I order mine with egg whites and turkey sausage! The portions are very generous too.

Le Petit Café & Bakery
Such a sweet little place! This little French inspired cafe offers delicious pastries, sandwiches, coffee and tea. Bad Owl Coffee Roasters
Harry Potter inspired cafe, Bad Owl Coffee is one of my favorite places for their coffee and toasts! There are two locations in the Vegas area but I prefer the Rainbow location because of the drive-thru. The avocado toasts are so delicious here as well as the pear and prosciutto toast. I always get the Kyoto Cold Brew whether I go drive thru or sit inside.

I have been coming to Maggie's since the first year they opened and what a little gem of a place. Maggie the owner is very French as well as the patrons. Maggie's serves traditional french style crepes that are not over stuffed but perfect in every way. You can get sweet, savory or the on fire Crepe Suzette!

BabyStacks Cafe
If you are looking for something different than your ordinary breakfast, check out Baby Stacks. This breakfast-lunch place is a Filipino Fusion restaurant with both island and American faves. The pancake selection here is insane which can be considered the American faves. For the Filipino foodies there you have your typical spam, garlic fried rice and egg breakfast. I actually think I am quite lucky because this place is in my neighborhood!

Metro Diner
Indeed a great diner! Having a good breakfast place in my hood that goes beyond the typical eggs and pancakes deal always peaks my interest. I have been here several times and everything has always been solid. You really cannot go wrong with what you order here, including the specials written on the back board. If you like sweet and if it is on the Specials Board go for the Peach Yo Hallah French Toast. It is an intense creation of a cream cheese stuffed French Toast covered in peach compote! It is worth sharing because the portion is huge. The corned beef hash here is great as well as their famous Chicken and Waffles. If you are a tea drinker, they have a wonderful selection of teas as well. Metro Diner is definitely a solid choice for brunching and lunching and everything in between! Yum!

Donut Bar
Opened until they run out so get there early! I have been here where it was open until 2:00 or noon. The donuts here are that popular and they do run out of what you may be looking for. There is so much goodness here from vegan creme brulee to Pop Tart Donuts! I am not a vegan but I do recommend the creme brulee- so good.

CRAFTkitchen
I have been coming to CRAFTkitchen since they opened several years ago. This local favorite is a solid breakfast, brunch or lunch choice in Henderson. The atmosphere of CraftKitchen has a clean and modern vibe with both indoor and outdoor seating. They also offer a private room that you can reserve if you have a large party seating. Also, there are delicious fresh baked pastries and goods in the glass case up front which are nice to take home if you get too full. There are several favorite dishes that I recommend like starting off with the Monkey Bread to share with your table. It is so fun to share and a nice way to break bread with others. The menu is Modern American which includes tacos, egg dishes, omelets and sandwiches. All are a twist on classics that give it that Modern American flair. The service at CraftKitchen is friendly and professional. I have never had a bad experience within these past years. Only delicious food and great service within a fun modern atmosphere.

Leone Café
Leone Café located in the Tivoli Village is a fun spot for breakfast, brunch, lunch or everything in between. The ambiance of this café is lovely as it reminds me of cafes in Europe, not necessarily France. Only difference is that in Europe you sit down and the servers come to you while at Leone Café, you stand in que for your order. They will bring the food to your table and the servers are nice and quick. There is outdoor seating in front of the café as well as indoor seating. It does get crowded so if you have a small party, you may want to get there early to grab a table or two. When I went to Leone there were five bruncers and we pulled together two small tables inside, which worked great. As for food and drink, what I ate and drank was solid! If you enjoy honey, I recommend the Leone Latte as it has a honey drizzle. It is a lovely latte of a drink! T On my returning visits, I would like to try other items on their menu but I think I found the latte that I will stick with!

Baguette Cafe
I have been to Baguette Cafe several times already and have loved every bite of it. I was introduced to this lovely little French cafe by another foodie friend a couple of years ago, who has a thing for coffee spots. It is tucked out of the way behind office buildings adjacent to the 215. The location is quiet and out of the way from any main road, so it has a feeling of being secluded if that is possible in Las Vegas! The owner is from France, so it truly is a French Café- big difference! He brings forward sandwiches, pastries, salads, coffees, etc using the best ingredients. Everything that I have tried here has been amazing especially the sandwiches and quiches. His desserts, tartes or any of his sweets are delicious and not heavy. Having visited Europe many times over, I have come to enjoy the fresh flavors that a true café has to offer. Baguette Café understands, gets it and brings it forward. Merci Baguette Café for bringing a bit of France to Vegas!
