Kame Omakase
Kame Omakase has to be one the best Japanese restarants in Las Vegas. It comes at a high price so be prepared to pay around $200 for your Omakase (Chef's choice) experience. Chef Eric skilfully creates incredible seafood and sashimi courses that are beautiful and incrediblely delicious. You may be served delights from live seafood (giant clam, uni and scallpos) to lobster tail sashimi topped with caviar and edible gold. This is Omakase meaning it is the Chef's Choice so be prepared to be surprised. Reservations are needed in this eight seated sushi bar.

Hobak Korean BBQ
A local favorite for Vegas Locals. If you enjoy Korean BBQ that is cooked at your table and if you share well with others, then this is your spot. The choice meats of skirt steak, marinated chicken and pork, short ribs, etc are excellent quality cuts and delicious.

Ono Sushi
This is a pretty good AYCE Sushi if you are on this side of Las Vegas. I have come in a couple times and both times it has been solid. For the price and considering it is an AYCE the menu items are interesting and are of good quality. One of my favorites is the Orange Blossom Roll and I've tried it both times that I have been here. It is tasty especially when you squeeze that orange wedge on it. I also recommend their mini tacos, pork belly, agedashi tofu, salmon kama and any of their specialty rolls. There is a lot to try here and all is quite delish!

Vegas Hotpot
At $16.99 for lunch, this is a very good place to eat in Chinatown. You will not leave hungry when you get rolled out. I would say it is one of the best deals for this part of town. For the lunch price it is AYCE and the options are great. You have the double pots so you can choose two different broths. The meat, noodles and vegetable options are good and served to your table so you do not have to leave your table. Well, you can leave the table for the sauce bar where you can create your own sauces for dipping. The broth bases were very nice and even better after everything goes in. I like to mix it up and add tofu or shellfish with my hot pot and those items are also included with the price. They also offer some desserts when done, just to complete you lunch experience.

Chanko Shabu & Bar
I am such a fan of Chanko! Everything is exceptional from the sleek atmosphere, friendly service and delicious food. Yes it is a bit more than similar places but it is definitely worth it. They serve a steamed box that has your choice of premium meat, vegetables and mushrooms. Also on the menu is Shabu hot pot which is also delicious!

TAKOPA JAPANESE STREET FOOD
This is such a delicious little spot especially if you looking for Japanese style street food or a good bowl of ramen. It's no secret that I sometimes need my Asian food fix and this is a great place for it. Located on Spring Mountain, Takopa is not a big place but parking is easy and the food is super tasty! If you are in the mood for noodles, this is a great spot for ramen or yakisoba. I do like the ramen here and it is a solid bowl of noodz! The Yaki Chasyu is delicious which you can eat on its own. I enjoyed eating it along side my bowl of ramen- YUM! If you like takoyaki then this is a good place for it, as they offer a variety of takoyaki. Takopa offers small plates of six or a larger platter of 16 pieces of takoyaki. It's like takoyaki lovers dream! This cute Japanese hot spot is a wonderful addition to the deliciousness of Spring Mountain. Definitely worth the visit to cure that Asian food fix!

Sushi Neko
For the price and the selections on the menu it is a definite good deal. We have tried many different items from pork belly, specialty rolls, sashimi, handrolls, etc. All were good especially for the price you are paying. The quality of the items are a step up of what you would expect for an AYCE sushi place.

Ohana Hawaiian BBQ
Huge portions for a great price! The food is Hawaiian comfort food- BBQ, rice, macaroni salad, missubi, Loco Moco, etc. I have tried several of their protein choices and stay with the BBQ Chicken, BBQ Short Ribs or Chicken Katsu. All are what you would expect from a casual Hawaiian BBQ place and very delicious. I also like to order a Spam Missubi although they also offer other types if you do not like Spam.

Omoide
So many yummy things here for the price point. I definitely would recommend Omoide if you are looking for tasty Asian food at reasonable prices. The servings are not too large so if you are a taster then this is a great place to eat. I am a taster and having too much of one thing can get boring for me, so to find a place where I can have different buns, small curry bowls, ramen or a bit of Miso Cod it is a good find. The quality of the food for the reasonable prices makes Omoide even better. I would recommend the buns like the Chasu bun or Kim Chi Pork. They are very tasty and not to filling where you can eat other things. I also like the small chicken curry bowl, another menu item that allows you to try other items. I am really looking forward to coming back again and trying their ramen and other dishes. For the style of restaurant, a casual Pan-Asian at a great price point, you definitely cannot go wrong here!

Kogi Korean BBQ & Seafood Hot Pot
Kogi is like the Trinity of AYCE Asian restaurants- Korean BBQ, Hot Pot and seafood! The quality of the meats, seafood and sides are incredible for the price. I suggest to upgrade and order the Chef BBQ plate and seafood plate (one order per table). Kogi is definitely worth the visit.

Suzuya Patisserie
Suzuya Patisserie, the lovely little bakery offering Asian style desserts with green tea or yuzu has a nice new location. It is next to several nice restaurants so you can come in for dessert or just for a sweet tooth fix. If you do not care for green tea or yuzu there are classic favorites like coconut chiffon cake or a decadent slice of chocolate cake. I recommend either the chocolate cake or coconut chiffon cake. Both are delicious, light and not too sweet. The prices are very good as well for a single slice or a whole cake. The price for a quality slice of cake will run you $4.00 more or less- that is pretty amazing! One of my neighborhood's favorite places for pastries- so delish!

Weera Thai Kitchen - China Town
One of my favorite Thai places in China Town. There are a couple of locations but the one on Spring Mountain caters more to the Asian population while the one on Sahara is more Americanized. I choose the Spring Mountain location. Weera Thai offers familiar Thai food but also items that you would find in a more authentic restaurant. The stuffed angel wings are delicious as well as the noodle and rice dishes.

Red Rice is a delicious place to try food from Guam. I have been here on several occasions and it is a favorite of my friends who have lived in Guam prior. It is a casual atmosphere and the prices are great. If you like spam musubi, they make it here with the red rice. The banana donuts are so good here too as they are made in house.

Ramen Show
Great place for ramen especially if you are looking beyond Tonkatsu! Ramen Show has Tonkatsu but also broths that are chicken or fish based. They also serve appetizers and one of the best tuna hand rolls! It is made with slices of blue fin tuna and you roll it yourself. I do not know which I like more- the tuna handroll or the ramen! So good...

Paris Baguette
This is the same Paris Baguette that you will find scattered throughout many major cities in the US. It is an Euro-Asian style cafe with both sweet and savories. What I mean by Euro-Asian is that many of the familiar items taste a little different, as they are not as sweet. Plus several of the items have an egg wash on them. It is a good cafe for coffee, sandwiches and pastries.

Bonsai Japanese Steak Sushi & Hibachi
Nice Japanese restaurant on Rainbow! There are so many sushi restaraunts on this boulevard but this one offers an AYCE and a Teppanyaki. So whichever you prefer, you have options here. On our last visit, we did not do tepanyaki nor the AYCE. We ordered a few items off the regular menu and everything was great for the price. Like I said, for the price it was good. The salmon skin and spicy tuna hand rolls were very good and I would definitely order them again. The Salmon Love plate was ordered by my daughter, who enjoyed it very much. Bonsai also serves beer and wine, plus I noticed pretty good Happy Hour specials. A person has options here: how to eat, what to eat and at what time to eat. I am looking forward to hitting their happy hour one day!

Sushi Loca Downtown Summerlin
Sushi Loca does not look like much from the outside but when you walk in - * Boom* - Super Sexy! In colors of red, black and golds with dim lighting the vibe is quite swanky. As for the food, it is pretty good for what it is. Although the swanky vibe this is not an upscale sushi restaurant but it is not an AYCE where quality is compromised. This is an in-between place with good prices for the food quality. With that said, I like their Blue Fin Tuna. It's not cheap in comparison to the other pieces, it is almost $14 for two pieces but worth it. The spicy tuna roll is also nice quality for the price. My daughter tried the sashimi salad and it was good, she liked the amount of sashimi given. The ramen was ok, it wasn't loaded like the ramens in typical noodle houses. The broth was good though, just don't expect a loaded bowl! All in all, good place in Downtown Summerlin for a meal while shopping.

Pho Aimie
A favorite Pho house close to my house! My daughter and I come here for the Pho or wonton soup. The broth is good and the servings are huge! I have also tried other dishes here like the spring rolls and fried noodles, they are decent but not as good as the soup dishes. The prices are competitive with other pho places in the area so it comes down to what taste best to you. This is my daughter's favorite so you know how that goes! Actually, I do like the food here especially the wonton soup- nice on a cold Vegas day. The service here is quick and friendly. The restaurant itself is updated and clean. Pho Aimie is a good local pho place, serving delicious hot soup and traditional Vietnamese dishes at great prices. Bon Appetit!

The Magic Noodle
Yes! Love this place and their hand pulled noodles! The price is very good too at around $10 a dish. The Magic Noodle creates their hand pulled noodles in house. You can watch the noodle pull from behind a glass wall which is always fun for kids to watch. The restaurant itself is modern but in a small space. Depending on the time of day, there can be a bit of a wait. The noodles here are definately delicious since they are freshly made. They make both a traditional noodle and a wide width noodle but I prefer the wide width noodle. The wide width noodles hold the sauce better especially if it is a fried dish. If you are looking for a dish with seafood, I recommend the shrimp fried noodles with wide noodles. I have yet to try the soup noodles but it did look delicious. Magic Noodle is definitely a noodle house worth trying! Bon Appetit!
