Café Napoli
An authentic Italian restaurant in the heart of Clayton. Dressier than most restaurants in the area, but you don't have to get super fancy or anything. Rec's: Filet mignon is exceptional along with their Chilean sea bass specials and pastas of course. The shrimp appetizer is pretty neat too. Order it and see for yourself!!

Olive + Oak
UNREAL! They offer a different menu each day with dishes crafted so creatively and beautifully with locally grown, farm-to-table ingredients. If you're an adventurous foodie, they've got your back. If you're a not-so-adventurous foodie, they've got your back too. Dessert: gotta order their "cloud cake" even if you're full. It's a nicer, yet still casual restaurant with a great warm atmosphere. Defintely make a reservation.

Winslow's Home
The Winslow Burger is flippin' fantastic and a favorite no doubt. They have a good long list of weekly specials that are always great too. Plus some awesome bakery items for dessert as well that are made in-house daily.

Sardella
A foodie dream of a place. A good chunk of their menu is for the adventurous folks out their, but if you're not into that, Sardella also delivers with some crazy good (and safe) menu items like caesar salad for starters (they make a better and lighter rendition), braised beef short ribs, roasted chicken, along with their specials. Incredible flavors all around.

Russell's on Macklind
Dishes may be a little pricey, but they deliver some top-notch food. Never have had a bad thing. Some suggestions: pork chop, strip steak, and burger and don't forget your gooey butter cake or other bakery item for dessert. Russell's has a big selection of freshly made sweet treats, so you're bound to find something that catches your eye.

The Tavern Kitchen and Bar CWE
On the nicer end, but great for a special date-night of sorts or a treat-yoself kinda night. The seared salmon and burger along with their "trios" (if you're indecisive) are great options. The skillet cookie is outta this world. Can't leave the premises without it. Defintely make a reservation just in case because it's a popular one.

Salt + Smoke
For the BBQ lover. Their meats are fire, especially the ribs, brisket, and pulled pork. You have to get the mac n cheese for a side. Pure glory.

Katie's Pizza & Pasta
Pretty much always crowded (because it's SO good), but you can take-out which is quicker. Katie's has jumped up to the top of many St.Louisans' favorite restaurants because they make gourmet wood-fired pizzas, like fig & procuitto, pear, and Ted's meatball, along with homemade pastas. Brussels sprouts are great too.

Baileys' Range
Burgers and milkshakes. Yum and yum. Fun place in the middle of downtown STL. They please the meat-lovers and vegan/vegetarians alike with beef, chicken, bison, veggie burger varieties. The "Chophouse," "Ballpark Pretzel," and Classics are a few great options, but they have special "Burger Battles" each week! Milkshake wise...they're all so good. Go crazy.
