Astro Doughnuts & Fried Chicken
Love Love Love. Astro doughnuts make amazing, creative yeast doughnuts, they also pepper in some cake donuts here and there, but their yeast donuts is where its at. This place is worth a detour. They also do fried chicken and its amazing. The savory doughnut sandwiches are a classic. If you're feeling like sweets get the cremem brulee for sure and give some of their seasonal flavors a try.

Buttercream Bakeshop
Fantastic spot. Great treats made by skilled chefs. The queen B is a must if you're lucky enough to wonder in whilte they still have it. It is a flakey party in your mouth that you didn't know you needed. I'm obsessed with their lemon bars and sometimes they have passion fruit pastries that make my heart flip

The CakeRoom
Love the cakeroom. Cake, pie, cookies…all good. The cookies are amazing especially anything nutella or chocolate. Great spot to pickup a celabratory cake or a cake slice when you're in the mood. I heavily recommend the chocolate fudge cake and the lemon cake

District Doughnut
District doughnut is amazing. Dulce de Leche and Crème brulee doughnuts have long been my favorites. As an added bonus they brulee it right in front of your face, all you need to do is contain yourself and not jump in

Milk Bar CityCenterDC
Milk bar is a must go. I personally love the cake truffles and cereal milk lattes. But don’t sleep on the cookies or crack pie.

Red Velvet Cupcakery
Great cupcakes. Great assortments with a range of flavors and sizes. If you only get one cupcake (hard to understand) it must the summertime, lemon cake and coconut flakes in the frosting. Their seasonal flavors are mouth melting, currently they have the snickers and it is a mouth party. They always have at least one vegan option too! Also, They make great cookiewiches, they are huge and filled with frosting and you will not regret giving it a try

Sticky Fingers Sweets & Eats
All treats are vegan and you for real cannot tell. They have a great selection of cupcakes that changes quite often, but my favorites are the melt in your mouth chocolate chip cookies and the sticky bun. They also sell a cookbook is cooking is your thing
