Hula Grill

Being that it’s on the 2nd floor, it’s harder to see from all of the foot traffic in Waikiki but revealing an impeccable view of the strip. It’s located on top of one of the most famous restaurants in Waikiki, Duke’s Restaurant. Even though Duke’s is more popular than Hula Grill, it doesn’t mean its better. Definitely, have Hula Grill on your list when it comes to dining in Waikiki

If you like udon and Japanese food, this place will not let you down. Don’t be fooled by the long line outside because the wait isn’t long. It’s like a cafeteria style restaurant where you get your food on a tray and sit down. People are in and out which makes the waiting in line quicker than it looks.

a trend when it comes to 2nd-floor restaurants in Waikiki. Tommy Bahama restaurant is also located on the 2nd floor of the shop. The restaurant has a 1st and 2nd floor. The main dining area is on the 1st floor but we decided to dine on the 2nd floor since it has a fire pit during dinner. The rooftop bar and dining are located on the 2nd floor. The best thing about dining here is that they bring out a tray of all of their desserts and trust me, you’ll want to order a dessert once you see the sample tray

One of my friends used to work here and he even said the food was delicious. It’s a yakiniku type of dining with a chef preparing and cooking the food in front of you. A chef show and dining experience indeed
