Francesco's Ristorante & Pizzeria
Mama Mia! Authentic, traditional Italian food. Francesco’s Ristorante and Pizzeria located in Maitland, Florida is the place to go. You will feel like you are actually eating in Italy with this Italian-themed restaurant. The pasta dishes are my favorite along with their special octopus appetizer. I also love the fact that they offer cooking classes to teach their hungry customers how to cook their amazing and fresh Italian dishes.

Kadence
If you would like to experience a multi-course sushi tasting that takes you to another world, go to Kadence. This restaurant is un-marked and receives customers through “word of mouth”. Their sushi tastings consist of a high quality selection of seasonal fish. Dining in at Kadence is more like a show than simply eating a meal. Everything is prepared right in front of your eyes along with cool music. The space is limited and reservations are required for dinner. While dining at Kadence you will wonder how you will ever go back to eating sushi somewhere else and you will also wonder how you went this long without eating from Kadence! Did I mention there is also sake?

Krungthep Tea Time
KrungThep Tea Time is somewhat of an unknown gem in the Winter Park, Florida area. This Thai restaurant offers unique sandwiches and teas. Their sandwiches are packed with flavor and come with a side salad. The sunflower bread at KrungThep is a must. The “An-Chan” drinks come out looking like unicorn tea because of the vibrant colors in the drink!

Domu
Ramen is not just for college students. DOMU serves fresh ramen bowls along with unique appetizers, such as Korean Fried Chicken (KFC). They are consistently busy due to the quality and creativeness of their menu. But do not worry about the wait. DOMU has a bar area where you can order both cocktail and select appetizers while waiting to be seated. If you can’t make it for dinner, try their brunch! You can never go wrong with a mimosa with added boba.

Armando’s is an authentic Italian restaurant that has a neighborhood feel to it. They have a lot of local, returning customers who come excited and ready to eat. They often host birthday parties and even wedding receptions in their outdoor area. Their pasta dishes are serves as a generous amount with fresh parmesan if you choose. My favorite appetizer from Armando’s is their “Calamari Luciana”. This dish is sautéed calamari served in a large bowl of wine sauce and fresh plum tomatoes. YUM!
