The Company Burger
Restaurant. Full Bar. Uptown and CBD locations. Other favorite burger place. The Lamb Burger. I've never tasted anything so delicious. Fried okra is usually on the menu and perfect. Also, they have a mayo bar with house made pickled jalapenos. I usually eat a small container of those before I even get my burger. Full bar. Milk shakes.

Republic NOLA
Event Venue/Bar. Romantic/hip feel. Good shows. Often a bit of a younger crowd (18-early 20 somethings) but I cannot stay away from the EMO nights. It's like a throw back to high school! Drinks are reasonably price. Bartenders are all good looking. Great owner.

Kajun's Pub
Dive bar in the Bywater on St. Claude. Okay drinks and low ceilings. Doesn't seem like much but they have karaoke that is a hoot and a half. Often hard to even get on the list, or you'll be waiting an hour but you're sure to see some sights and hear all your karaoke favorite! There's a patio if you want to enjoy the outdoors. This area has a handful of fun bar s and restaurants surrounding it making a great night out.

Freret Beer Room
Uptown. Only beer and wine served. EVERYTHING HERE IS DELICIOUS. All the pasta is made in house. The menu changes frequently for what fresh produce is available as well as what's seasonal. The roast beef sandwich is usually on the menu and will make you cry it is so delicious. Use both hands. Don't put it down. Brunch is a great time to go. All menu items are paired with beer and some of the wines. The menu is incredibly mindful.

Prytania Theatre
Uptown. The only one screen movie theater in the city, maybe in the state? No frills here but it is a great vintage experience. Often Fridays and Saturdays there are midnight movies with Rocky Horror Picture Show making an appearance usually once a month. Normal prices. Over 100 years old. Just a little piece of New Orleans history. I love movie theater popcorn.

PIZZA domenica
Garlic Knots and whipped provolone fonduta. It's worth the entire visit. Pizza is thin crust and good. Cocktails are updated often and good. Décor is nice. But those garlic knots… and the whipped provolone fonduta… drool.
