Bali Sea Turtle Society

Give some love to the TURTLES! My favourite animals! They hatch everyday around 3/4pm and you can go watch this - one of my favourite experiences, then come back the next day 1/2pm to release them into the sea! Only 1 in 1000 baby turtles survive, some die on the way to the ocean and many die from plastic! So let’s do our bit for turtles and donate, whilst experiencing the first amazing steps in their little lives!

Gili Trawangan Turtle Hatchery

Another turtle recommendation! There’s a place on Gili T called Turtle Point along the beach, where you can hire some snorkels and goggles from a shack (probably more hygienic to use your own) and take your own personal snorkelling trip to see the absolutely stunning marine life and even turtles without having to pay for a tour to take you! This is a great way to see Gili if you’re on a budget and cant book a tour!

Phillip Island Wildlife Park

Great day out if you’re in Melbourne! Go see the animals run free in the Wildlife Sanctuary and come eye to eye with an emu (literally eye to eye! I was very scared) and meet some of Australia’s amaizng animals! Also recommend seeing the Penguin Parade on Philip Islands - smallest penguins in the world! (Dont take photos of the penguins though)
