Arcadia Backpackers
This hostel is a waterpark themed hostel, need I say more? Right on the lake you can keep yourself entertained for days heading face first down the giant slide or sending your friends flying on the blob.

Kadir's Tree House
Staying in a tree house may not be for everyone as you do lack some creature comforts, but this place was hands down one of the coolest places I have stayed in. They say people book a few nights and end up never leaving, I definitely understand why!

Madonna Inn
Hands down the funniest place I have ever stayed. Each room is uniquely decorated with its own theme, you feel like you are staying in a movie set. The dining hall is covered in pink and reminded me of the mad hatters tea party. This is not to be missed if completing a road trip along highway 1.

La Salangane
Part of a French restaurant the location of this place cannot be beat. Right on the water where the tours to the islands depart and the sun sets. A definite favorite of ours during our time in the Philippines.

Island Pacific Villas
Situated in General Luna just outside of town this was as tropical as you can get! Hammocks and daybeds right by the ocean, clean spacious room less than 10 mins from town and super affordable for the area.

Castle Rock Hostel
Located right beside Edinburgh Castle, in the heart of the city if you are visiting Edinburgh this is hard to beat. Decor is medieval themed which makes you feel like you have been transported back in time.

Hostel Franz Ferdinand
Very modern, clean hostel in the centre of town. The dorms are like pods where you have a curtain light and shelf which is always nice to have some private in a dorm room. The hostel itself is decorated with historical photos which gives it a nice point of difference.

Cosmopolitan Suites
This is hands down one of the nicest places I have ever stayed in my life. But it does come with a price tag. So if you are looking to splurge of an infinity pool overlooking Fira and undisturbed views of the sunset. Then look no further!

Goodmorning Hostel Lisbon
On my first trip to Europe this was the first hostel that I didn’t want to leave. It was fun, lively and offered a free breakfast of waffles! Not to mention in an amazing location, you will not regret booking here.

Mountain View Sapa Hotel & Hostel
Perfect location in the middle of the small town of Sapa. Perfect place to begin one of the many Sapa hikes available in the area. Lovely owner called Mrs Moon. Private rooms are the way to go here, as you will feel like you have just booked yourself into a hotel suite (with a hostel price tag). The most amazing views too, just incase I hadn’t sold it enough yet.
