Well, of course! I love living overseas but I can't help but miss Helsinki. It has everything without the big city problems.

I used to hate Bangkok but nowadays I love it. This City of Life has everything; sun, food, shopping, sighseeing. The downside is the pollution and the traffic jams.

The Aussie way of life is something that I miss constantly. On top of that, Sydney is such a vibrant city, so many things to see, great food, beaches, cute surfers, hehe, and so on.

My old hometown as well. You will never get bored in London. Plus I'm a sucker for the cute terraced houses (even though they do get cold in winter) and the freaking good parties.

It's not a city per se but this tiny island is my second home. It's a tropical paradise with good food, plenty of yoga schools, fantastic beaches and awesome parties.

Took me a while to make it there but nevertheless, it was worth the wait. The Italian La Dolce Vita with the delicious Italian cuisine, wines, gelato and so on, combined with the sights is a must-do.

Who could resist the combination of Gaudi, tapas, red wine and the beach?

My former home town. Many people who visit Down Under leave it out but you are making a mistake if you do that. A cozy place surrounded by multiple wine regions.

The Japanese culture is so different from mine which makes it very exciting. I'm also a bit of a foodie so it was a dream come true to experience the Japanase food culture on the spot. My favourite dish is okonomiyaki, the Japanese omelet.

Sinisen Huvilan Kahvila
This idyllic outside cafe is overlooking the Töölönlahti Bay. No cars nearby. Perhaps not the widest selection of products but the location makes up for it. Opens in spring and closes down for a winter break in autumn.

A Kallio neighbourhood favourite. Moderate prices. Excellent salad bar and on the spot baked sweet and savoury delicacies,

Regatta
A unique spot a bit out of the city centre but nevertheless, this quirky red hut with a big outdoor seating area is a must see. Open 365 days a year.

My Way Productions
A brand new wine bar/bakery in Kallio. The different breads they make here are just divine. Fairly plain decor and can get a bit loud.

Café Ursula
A classic in the southernmost Helsinki. It's right by the sea, has an indoor seating area and also a big terrace. A bit pricy but their products are mouthwatering.

This sauna complex serves also as a restaurant/cafe/bar. Beautiful architecture. I would recommend trying out the sauna also, in addition to getting a caffeine fix.

Brooklyn Cafe
You can find American style proper bagels, cupcakes and muffins here to mention a few. It was started by two sisters who were missing their home town favourites. It is clear that their products appeal to the Finnish taste as well.

Kahvila Kampela
This cozy place is situated in Vuosaari, next to the beach, small marina and nature trails. It has outdoor patio so it's more popular during the summer months. Try their tasty salmon soup which is a very popular dish in Filand.

An elegant and slightly post cafe/restaurant right in the city centre. The decor is beautiful, old-fashioned. Also popular among the older generation. The downside is that it's slightly pricey.

Johan & Nyström - Kanavaranta
These guys take coffee business seriously! They buy the coffee from handpicked farmeres, roast the coffee themselves and also offer courses about tea and coffee. It is located next to the presidential palace and marina so if you sit outside you have nice views in front of you.
