Toppling Goliath Brewing Co
With beers rated as some of the best in the nation, our small town is pretty proud to host this brewery, which was started by local beer enthusiasts.

Pulpit Rock Brewing Company
What kind of town only has one craft brewery? it's 2018, people! Pulpit Rock Brewery is just as good, if not on par with that of Toppling Goliath. With a patio overlooking the upper Iowa river, and just a short walk to the rest of downtown Decorah, it's the perfect place to spend a Saturday afternoon.

Oneota Community Food Co-op
Fresh produce, pizza dough, mozzarella and a hot food bar for lunch in a small town. The co-op is one of the best grocery stores I have ever been to!

Dunnings Spring Park
A waterfall? In Iowa? You betcha. This impressive waterfall carries water into the Upper Iowa river. You can catch the local Luther College athletes "ice bathing" in the pond at the bottom after a hard day of practice.

Decorah Community Prairie
Imagine hundreds of butterflies, perched in an oak tree as the sunsets. This is the prairie in Decorah around August/September.

Luna Valley Farm
Every Friday, members of the community make the 8 minute trek via car or bike out of town to this farm. There, they order a pizza topped with fresh, local ingredients and sit down with beer, wine or a soda of their choosing and enjoy the company of friends and family.

Trout Run Trail
The Trout Run Trail includes 11 miles of paved running and biking trail, so called the "Trout Run Trail" because it runs next to the Decorah Trout Hatchery (the second largest trout hatchery in Iowa). A beautiful place to take the family for a bike ride.

Upper Iowa River
In the summer and fall months, the river is full of swimmers, families kayaking or canoeing, as well as tubers and people fishing from the local campground.
