Bangkok Favorites
As an expat in Bangkok, I grew to call that place home. The city is more than Khaosan and you ahould check these places out if you are there!

Ratchada Rot Fai Night Market
There are so many great markets in Bangkok but I mention this one in particular because it has a cool vibe but is also easy to get to. It not only is a market with the typical variety if food but it also has many different bars aroubd the perimeter to relax with friends. Located right next to the Thailand Cultural Centre MRT stop, its a must visit.

River View Guest House
Located just outside Chinatown on the Chao Phraya, Rivervibe is top of a hostel and offers a relaxing environment to catch up with friends. The food and beverages are decently priced and you can always go exploring through Chinatown afterwords.

Better Moon x Refill Station
This has to be one of my favourite cafes to work in! The staff is friendly and the drinks are good. It's not tok expensive but a bit pricier than most cafes. The nice thing is that you don't need to pay and co-working fee for a chill and quiet workspace. They also have a beautiful hostel attached to this place. Super easy to get to, just a short walk from On Nut BTS station.

Golden Mountain Temple
Wat Saket is probably my favourite temple in Bangkok just for the view of the city at the top. What a lot of people dont realise, however, is that there are a ton of great restaurants and lounge areas around this temple. It's also nice for travellers staying on or near Khao San but want a break from that scene.

Pan Road
I've newly discovered this area of Bangkok and its filled with a ton of great cafes and restaurants. There is a lot of veggie and Indian food here as well and pretty easy to get here via the Silom Mrt station or the surasak/saka daeng BTS stations.
