Vancouver
My home city, Vancouver, is so beautiful and a must see if you go to Canada. The best part is the mountains which you can easily see towering behind the city skyline. Its a city full of art and a large variety of food options from all around the world.

Chiang Mai
Chiang Mai holds an atmosphere that can't be properly put into words. It would be my recommendation to head there during the annual festivals Loy Krathong in November and Songkran in April. It is also home to the highest peak in the country, Doi Inthanon.

Hội An
Hoi An has so much to offer; history, beaches, nightlife, and food. Also, its an amazing place to get custom-tailored clothing and goods at affordable prices.

Fes
Morocco, in general, is a country that should be visited more often and Fes is a great city to make your "hub" while travelling. I loved getting lost in the old medina and visiting the different artisan shops to see how some of the goods were made.

Kyoto
There is so much charm to Kyoto that its not surprise is makes it on to many peoples top lists. I highly recommend staying in or near Gion as that is where a lot of the temples are located. Kyoto has about 460 temples, so if you are a fan of sightseeing and exploring, Kyoto should not be missed.

Málaga
Although there may not be any major attractions in Malaga, I love this city. There is so much to see and explore, particularly in the Old City area. Its a great city to relax, especially if you are wanting a place to stop to rest while travelling.

Bangkok
Being my current home base, I have grown to really love this city. People often don't give it a fair chance, exploring only the very touristy parts, but it has so much more to offer. Best thing to do here is explore the areas around the many train stations.

Gujo Hachiman Castle
My favourite places tend to be ones where I can relax but also choose to have some adventure. Gujo is a quaint village located in the mountainous center of Gifu prefecture. What I found really interesting about Gujo were all the waterways and canals around the town which still help water the crops that the villagers grow.

Krong Siem Reap
I had to mention Siem Reap because I loved exploring the Angkor temples. It's a pretty touristy thing to do but I would recommend visiting some of the less travelled temples as well.

tt. Sa Pa
Sa Pa has been gaining popularity and for good reason. It's stunning, relaxing, and eye-opening. I would recommend trying to organise a private homestay and really get to know the locals. No matter the weather; fog or sun; I was always in awe of the views of rice fields.
