Chiang Dao
In a lush jungle setting, this was by far our favorite town in Thailand. We felt like the only tourists there and spent our days exploring on scooter the surrounding caves, waterfalls and the Chiang Dao mountain. By night, we sat around the campfire enjoying the peaceful surroundings.

Kuta
A lot less built up in comparison to Bali, this village has beautiful, empty beaches, stunning scenery and laid back vibes. We spent our time here finding secluded beaches and spectacular cliff side viewpoints.

Ko Yao Yai
Halfway between Phuket and Krabi, this tiny island is amazing. Lay back on the secluded beach, kayak to a private island or get lost in the mountain and rainforest. With hardly any tourists, it’s the perfect place for respite in Thailand.

Ko Lanta District
An island with a laid back vibe and one very long, white, sandy beach. Spend your time here walking rescued stray dogs, exploring the caves and waterfalls and kayaking in the crystal clear water.

Langkawi
We love this duty free island so much we decided to spend 1 whole month exploring the island. A lot cleaner than other asian islands, Langkawi is naturally stunning. Rice fields, mangroves, waterfalls and beaches, Langkawi has it all.

Mueang Chiang Rai
Home to the infamous Buddhist White Temple, Wat Rong Khun. It’s definitely our favorite temple we have seen, and we’ve seen a lot.

Phuket
We much prefer this town over the more popular beach Phuket area. Filled with attractive and unique sino-portuguese architecture, you'll forget you're in Asia.

Otres Beach
Not far from the popular Sihanoukville, Otres is much more chilled out and relaxing. The long white sandy beach is clean with clear blue water. We enjoyed playing football with the local kids here.

Gili Trawangan
A popular indonesian destination, Gili T is known as the party island. Although it’s much more than that. We’re not party people but we still had a blast on Gili T. We spent our days, island hopping, snorkelling, drinking coconuts and relaxing on the picture perfect beach.

Pai
Another of our favourites in Northern Thailand. Gorgeous green scenery, waterfalls, canyons and temples, Pai has it all. The night market is our favourite yet it’s full of little stalls selling food galore; sushi, barbecued meats, Indian food, spring rolls, pancakes and all of the Thai favourites.
