Flåmsbana
There's a reason it's dubbed "the most beautiful train journey in the world." Look out the window and you'll see a gorgeous landscape of waterfalls and greenery as you travel from Oslo to Bergen

Sunset Cliffs Natural Park
As its name suggests, it's hands down the best spot to watch the sunset in San Diego. Also check out its open ceiling sea cave if you can (make sure to check the tides beforehand so you don't go when it's flooded)

The Bund
Here, you get the perfect view of Shanghai's iconic, futuristic skyline - one of the few places that looks as unreal in person as it does on postcards

Top of the Rock
Has the best view of the NYC skyline in Manhattan. You can go to the Empire State Building...but then you wouldn't see the Empire State Building. Here, you get a perfect, straight-on view.

Particularly lovely during cherry blossom season - just go early in the morning (i.e. sunrise early) or go later and brave the crowds

Grótta
Not a place per se, but you can't go to Iceland without seeing the Northern Lights! Only caveat is the Lights often look better in photos than in person, but in terms of photography it's a must
