Bo de B
This place was a local gem and now it’s a tourist trap, but you have to go!!!! They only accept cash here and the sandwiches are so cheap yet they LOAD them with stuff. We would also buy food here then go buy a cheap drink from the market next door and then head to the beach or the boat docks to eat since they were such a short walk away.

Bacoa Burger
This place uses many different Spanish cheeses, hams and other top-notch local products. There are two locations, one right in the center of Barcelona and the other tucked away behind Santa Caterina Market in El Born. Easily one of the best burger places in Barcelona.

Carrefour Market
The main grocery store off of las ramblas. It’s two stories and has a huge selection of stuff to choose from, so if you live close enough definitely make this your normal grocery store.

Wok To Walk
Basically the panda express of Barcelona except 200x better. If you’re craving Chinese takeout this is the place to go. It is a build your own box type of thing, so it can be cheap or expensive depending on what you choose. You pick between a selection of noodles or rice, then proteins, then vegetables, other extras, and sauces.

La Rambla - La Boqueria
The #1 fresh market in all of Barcelona!!!! This market is HUGE but also extremely crowded 24/7. They have fresh fruit juices for 1 euro, fresh fish, and pretty much any other kind of spanish food you can think of. (Ham and cheese mixes are always a go to)

Pans & Company
This was our go to easy sandwich place or even for a small pizza. They are pretty much all over and they even have one in the airport. Good on the go food.

Makamaka Beach Burger Cafe
I would say this was my favorite burger place. It’s location is right next to the beach. Their home made garlic and parmesan fries are to die for and my favorite burgers were Mr. Nice Guy and Big Maka.

The Pudding Bar
Really cute cafe that looks like you just stepped foot into Alice in Wonderland when you walk inside. It has pretty good lunch food.

Somewhere café Aragó
The inside is so cozy and homework/remote work friendly. Their concept is also to have food dishes from all over the world, so there is a lot of really good stuff to try! I’m a big fan of the hummus platter 😋

Que Bo Raval
One of my favorite quick food options that is easy to take to go if you don’t want to sit down! I would say it’s middle eastern style food in a sense, but I usually get the chicken durum with everything on it besides onion. A durum is basically all the ingredients inside a tortilla and pressed in a sandwich press! Durums are only €3.95 and are very filling in my opinion 🤤

El Nacional
Four restaurants and four bars under one roof. The inside decor is amazing, but it is a tad bit on the pricey side so if you’re on a budget maybe just go here for a drink to at least see the place. (@lady friends, the bathroom here is awesome and a cool place for pictures haha)
