Broadway Market
Nestled in the heart of Hackney just over the Regent's Canal, a visit to Broadway Market on a Saturday will be busy yet remarkably tourist free. You'll feel as if you're firmly out of the city and wandering through a cool neighborhood, surrounded by locals (and hipsters) doing their weekly shopping. All the stalls are lined up on one street, and the permanent storefronts are just as cool as the street vendors so be sure to wander in (we like Artwords and l'eau a La Bouche). Adjoining is their smaller venture; a completely vegan market.

South Kensington Farmers' Market
A hidden gem that's entirely local, we can pretty much guarentee this market won't appear on a google list of London's best; and that's kind of why we love it. Although this small-scale market is only open on the Imperial College campus on Tuesdays from 9am-2pm and has less than 20 vendors; they have some of the best prepared food offerings in London in a variety of different cuisines (and our all time favourite, Mumbai Mix). Keep this market on your radar for the next time you're planning a culture day and need a great lunch stop, as it's right next to the V&A, Science, and Natural History museums

Borough Market
Borough Market is the most famous food market in London and for that reason alone, it's worth a visit. The market is huge and nestled under a covered roof by London Bridge and offers everything from prepared food, to produce, fish, and specialty olive oil. Borough Market doesn't house many of our favourite vendors, so take our advice and head to Kappacasein - you won't regret getting their epic grilled cheese.

Pop Brixton
Similar to Dinerama, but with some key differences, this is a neighboorhood steet food arena that's can be visited during the day. Filled with picnic tables, pop-up storefronts with great food, and a few bars. The even have salsa dancing on Sundays for ÂŁ7 that you can join in on.

Dinerama
Looking for plans on a Wednesday-Saturday evening? Head to Dinerama, the permanent "adult" nightmarket filled with an equal amount of street food vendors and bars. Grab your friends, a drink, some tasty snacks, and hang with Shoreditch's hipster crowd in this multi-level and super-cool indoor/outdoor space.

Victoria Park Market
This market offers the perfect combination for sunny London days; a long path lined with every food tent you could imagine and a gorgeous park to enjoy your picnic in. Considering that most markets, street food arenas, and food halls are really urban, this one makes for a lovely change.
