If you're a big coconut shrimp fan then be sure to make a stop here. I'd highly recommend trying dipping them in some siracha. Shark's Cove Pupukea Beautiful place to go snorkeling without all the crazy crowds.

Makapu'u Tide Pools
Just off the trail to the lighthouse you can venture down the cliffs to these tide pools. They are large enough to swim in and is a great place to watch the sunset.

Ho’omaluhia Botanical Garden Visitor Center
The entrance to the gardens is a pretty famous spot for Instagrammers but if you're a fan of calming nature walks, take a nice strol through the park (arrive before 9 am or after 5 pm to beat the crowds and heat). Lanikai Brewing Kailua For just $12.00 you can get 4 decent sized tastings from the Lanikai beer list from IPA's to Stouts.

Giovanni's Shrimp Truck
Food Trucks Haleiwa — Up North you'll find a bundle of great food trucks with choices of shrimp, acai bowls, shaved ice, etc. One of Giovanni's famous food trucks is permanently located here and has some of the best mac salad ever. Diamond Head Honolulu The view from the top is a breathtaking 360 view of Honolulu plus it's pretty cool knowing you're hiking up a crater.

Mauna Loa Helicopter Tours
This is by far the best way to see the island. Being able to soar over the rolling mountains, spot sea turtles in the crystal blue waters, and get up close and personal with waterfalls is unforgettable.
