Garden of the Phoenix
There are few remains of Chicago’s famed World Fair. The Garden of Phoenix is an impressive Japanese garden and one of the few remaining relics of the fair. It’s a bit of a hike, but well worth exploring.

Garfield Park Conservatory
In my mind, this is one of the coolest spots in Chicago. The conservancy is a series of greenhouses that are amazing to explore. They operate off of donations, and you can visit here rain, snow, or shine!

Rookery Building
The Rookery is one of my favorite places in Chicago. Don’t let the building’s modest exterior fool you. The Rookery is one of the oldest skyscrapers in the city and boasts an incredible Lobby re-designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. It was also was home to the planning for the Columbian Exhibition. Book a tour through Frank Lloyd Wright Trust to explore the Rookery.
