Nothing tops Chilean wine. If you've never heard of Carmenere, you're going to want to. And say goodbye to your heart as you're able to fall in love. Staying in Santiago? You can take an inexpensive cab or Uber for about $30 USD to the vineyards each way or book a tour. Either way, you'll need reservations in advance.
