Set up speakeasy style, this sushi spot is hidden behind a Matcha Spot in river north. Fresh fish and excellent service make it worth coming downtown for.

Toro Sushi
This hole in the wall place in Lincoln Park has some of the best sushi in the city. Be sure to come early because it's a small space and there is always a wait at peak hours.

Coast Sushi Bar
Come here for fresh sushi. Their rolls are heavy on the fish and light on the rice. We love that it's BYOB and pretty easy to get in on a Friday night.

Yuzu Sushi & Robata Grill
This place features insane food art on their dishes. On their dragon roll, expect a whole dragon made of dyed spicy mayo. It's also BYOB, so stop across the street at forbidden roots brewery and grab a growler before heading over.
