Glovo
The postmates and uber eats of Barcelona. They have a million options to choose from on their website for food delivery. The delivery charge is only 1 euro (crazy cheap) and you can track your delivery guy via their app. Oh and all of the “drivers” ride bikes haha

Monchos
This is where I would recommend going in order to get some freshly made, extremely good paella. The key is to look for paella restaurants closer to the ocean because ones that are farther away might not actually be cooking the dishes fresh and might actually be using a frozen, cheap, gross mix (lame). I highly recommend this place though.

Da Greco
Jay Z and Beyonce’s favorite restaurant in Barcelona!! They literally have a table here that is always blocked off and reserved for them. It’s on the more pricey end of the spectrum but it’s cool in the sense that for every dish you order your server will bring our additional plates for everyone else at your table to try the dish. This might sound normal to you, but that is super rare for any place to do that, they normally look and you weird if you ask to share there. Definitely some worthwhile Italian food.

Restaurant Palosanto
This is a very local hidden gem. This place was right next to where Melissa, Shannon, Shelly and I lived so we would go here religiously. They have some of the best nachos you will ever try in your life. The rest of their food is also really good too and great prices, but we were obsessed with the nachos. Small place, really cool atmosphere and it fills up quick so you might need to make a reservation here too. Heads up, the place doesn’t open until 5:oopm and the kitchen won’t start serving food until 7:00pm.

Taco Alto Raval
The closest thing you will get to having Mexican food that reminds you of San Diego’s. The tacos here are to die for and the most expensive taco there is only 2.50, so the prices are really good. My favorites were the Pirata, Gringa, Baja and Safari.

La Luna
This restaurant was a fan favorite of all of my friends that came to visit. It’s pretty hidden and the restaurant is designed to have a cave like feel on the inside. They have amazing croquettes, a greek salad, ravioli, and quesadillas but the patatas bravas here are sub par so don’t order those

Casa Lolea
This is THE spot in Barcelona. They have by far the best sangria that I have ever had and any time anyone came to visit us in Barcelona we would take them here. The food is FANTASTIC, I recommend patatas bravas, marinated salmon, risotto, and goat cheese salad. With that being said, it’s such a popular place that you won’t be able to get in for dinner without a reservation, but on occasion you can get in for lunch without one. Moral of the story is make a reservation and don’t leave without buying one of the sangria bottles to go (Only $9 if you buy it directly from them).

Que Bo Raval
One of my favorite quick food options that is easy to take to go if you don’t want to sit down! I would say it’s middle eastern style food in a sense, but I usually get the chicken durum with everything on it besides onion. A durum is basically all the ingredients inside a tortilla and pressed in a sandwich press! Durums are only €3.95 and are very filling in my opinion 🤤
