Probably Williamsburg’s most talked about restaurant and the pastas are great. But the need to secure a reservation weeks in advance ruins it as a neighborhood stop for me.

Llama Inn
When someone asks for a recommendation in Williamsburg, this is always the first place I give. There’s just nothing else like it. The modern Peruvian food is amazing, the cocktails are top notch and the space is just really cool.

Kings County Imperial
Slightly Americanized Chinese food that’s just really good across the board. Go for the Long Dumplings, Mock Eel and Tea Smoked Duck.

This Japanese ‘steakhouse’ is pricey for the area but well worth it for the quality you get. The smoked duck breast and uni wagyu roll need to be ordered.

Maison Premiere
The main reason to come here: 30 different types of oysters for around $1 each between 5-7pm. The place is also decked out like an old Parisian bar and has a great Absinthe selection.
