Shopping is the best in Spain. Hellllooooo Zara, plus many beautiful Spanish boutiques. As a girl who loves California laidback and beachy style,

I spent a summer studying neuropharmacology in Athens by the week, and on the Greek islands by the weekend. My favorite places to visit were Santorini. I guess I am a romantic. I had the ideal time there going cliff diving, racing donkeys with two of my colleagues up the steep Santorini mountains (one of them cried, sorry :P), riding a vespa with a couchsurfer down the Oia mountains at 4am and taking a sailboat to watch the Oia sunset, hike volcanos and return to the city to dance and drink the night away. In mykonos, I had a blast meeting Italian sailors at Benny Benassi's birthday party event as he DJ'd at Cavo Paradiso. Let's say I got on a vespa again, paroused through the whole city, and as I returned back to Athens to return to classes lost one colleague on the way in Mykonos. Of course she made it back the next day, but it was a memory to last a lifetime. :)

Visiting Petra was like a dream. As I took photos, I was holding on to my cell phone hoping all the pictures won't disappear because it honestly felt like I was in a different world. That 'this is too good to be true feeling.' My friend and I spotanesouly booked a trip here from Israel and it was one of the best moments of our lives. We ended up going on a private tour from the local Bedouins and saw their caves and living spots. I also rode an Arabian horse, and though it was my first time riding a horse I asked the guy who was handling the horses to make it sprint. It was crazy, energizing and such a great experience.

There's no place like my home country. The land of the free, the red, white and blue. My family lives in California, and whenever I go back home I head to San Diego and get my Surf n Turf burrito from Vallerta's. A local mexican shop that makes the best steak and shrimp burritos. Everyone at UC San Diego knows also to get the carne asada fries, but for me the burritos were enough

Denmark
Denmark has a warm spot in my heart as I have a good friend there who I love to visit. Some of our memories are his dad going out fishing and bringing us loads of fresh salmon to eat. We ended up eating Salmon for an entire week. I also love visiting Christiana for it's funky architecture and creative and welcoming locals. Besides that, bike rides in the city and visiting art museums are a delight. Go check out Edvard Munch in Copenhagen and also go out as the night life here is very fun. Danish people are welcoming, kind and also love a good night out.

France
I am a Parisian girl from head to toe. My first time in Paris I spoke no French, and had a multitude of people saying Ca Va and smiling at me. Trust me, Parisians are not all cold! My french has gotten better now living in French speaking region and I still love to return to Paris to get my hair done from time to time, and also to go out for a night out. I always love the energy in Paris accompanied by some casual trips to the Louvre, Luxembourg gardens and all the glorious things Paris has to offer.

Israel
Israel is one of my favorite countries, and I loved Jerusalem. Walking through the holy city was amazing and also celebrating Hanukkah there while staying at the warm and friendly Abraham Hostel made it an experience to remember. Besides Jerusalem, Tel Aviv has one of the best nightlifes ever, I met two Swiss pilots and we ended up bar hopping and hitting clubs till the wee hours of the morning. Another fun experience was going to the beach at night to swim with fellow travelers. Pure adventure, Pure happiness.

Portugal is heaven on earth. You must visit Lisbon, you must spend your nights out in Barrio Alto and search for the one euro bar there for drinks. Pasteis de Natas are heaven in your mouth, and it's best to go to the riginal Natas store in Belem which was open in 1837, it's called Pasteis de Belem. Get your natas fresh from the oven, sprinkled with powdered sugar and enter into your own food heaven.

What can I say about Brazil but just all good things. Rio de Janeiro had way to many things I wanted to see, and not enough time.

Morocco
Marrakech was an immense delight. Some of my favorites activities was bartering with the locals in the bazaars, eating snails with other travelers, and going on a 3-day trip t the Sahara desert. Watching the sun and moon at the same time, relaxing with local Morrocans and just enjoying the moment. When I return back I would love to take some belly dancing courses and go four wheeling in the sand dunes.
