Café des Deux Moulins
A famous café known for its scene in the movie Le Fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain. I was in Paris over 10 years ago but this hipster vibe and selection of classic French pastries stuck with me.

La Pitahaya Vegana
Yes, there are taco stands literally on every street corner in Mexico City. But! These vegan tacos made with beetroot tortillas are something I've never experienced before. Scrambled spicy tofu, whipped avocado, mix of mushrooms... such an explosion of original flavours.

Literally the BEST sushi I've ever had. Plus it's vegan! You'll get to taste emulsions of sweet potatoes, beet tartare, and mushroom garnishes you'll never know weren't actually fish.

Undoubtedly, the best part of this place is the view. Best to reserve during sunset and catch the view of the Marina Bay Sands and Gardens by the Bay all lit up at night with a beautiful lightshow and orchestra playing.

Good Times at Davey Wayne's
This place takes the cake with a secret entry way. You get to walk into the bar through what seems like someone's garage door and the entrace is through a seemingly nondescript refrigerator door. Once you're in, grab an alcoholic snowcone and play a round of lifesize Jenga as the DJs spin the night away.
