Gracias Madre
A definite crowd pleaser. I take omnivores here all the time, and they rarely notice that their meal is meat free. All the dishes are extremely flavorful and filling. I recommend the cauliflower starter and the sweet potato flautas. Bowl Tres is a good one as well.

Kreation Organic Kafe
Another great plant-based spot that caters to omnivores as well. Most locations solely offer juice and to-go snacks, but the Santa Monica and Venice location have a full sit down menu offering Mediterranean-Persian cuisine featuring local produce, nut-based mylks, acai bowls, adaptogenic juices and lattes, humane certified meats, etc.

The Butcher's Daughter
Amazing brunch spot in Venice. They don't take reservations and the wait is pretty substantial on the weekends, but it's worth it. Put your name down and walk around Abbot Kinney while you wait. The pizzas are yummy and the avocado toast never dissapoints. Beautiful ambiance and great for a date night dinner as well.

Lifehouse Tonics + Elixirs
More of a elixir and superfood smoothie bar, but they also have a cold case of probiotic yogurts, raw chaga brownies and superfood snacks.

M Cafe
The Larchmont location is my personal favorite. It seems to have more fresh baked goods and options in the cold case.

Beaming
A quick smoothie, bowl and to-go lunch spot. Most locations now offer a superfood porridge bar (chia porridge, oat porridge, all the works). My favorite is Lisa's Daily Lean and Grean smoothie with the kelp noodle lunch. The Rockstar smoothie is also a crowd pleaser. The location in Santa Monica off Montana is their largest LA location and has more seating.

Sage Bistro
Most local vegan foodies will recommend Sage as their favorite place in LA. It's very similar to Cafe Gratitude in my opinion, minus the happy hippy stuff (I don't mind it!). Fun menu items like jackfruit stuffed avocado, fried coconut calamari, and the Brazilian Bowl is a must if you're into fried plantains.

Plant Food and Wine
Matthew Kinney is hands down one of the most innovative and skilled plant based chefs out there. Aside from the amazing food (get the Kelp Noodle Cacio E Pepe, dodge the Kimchi Dumplings), the ambiance is absolutely stunning. I should warn... it's probably the most expensive vegan restaurant in LA.

Cafe Gratitude
A great mix of healthy junk food and healthy, healthy food. The cinnamon rolls are to die for! All vegan and is gluten free and allergen friendly.

The Hive - Organic Cafe & Superfood Bar
My go-to breakfast burrito spot. They have reaaaally yummy vegan & GF breakfast burritos (a combo that is surprinsgly harder to find than you would think). The side of homemade kale chips are delicious. You can top your acai bowls with dried mulberries which is unique for LA. The Green Hornet smoothie is bomb, but a lot of sugar (although natural, it's still sugar) so I sub the fruit juice base for hemp milk and remove the banana.
