Krakus Mound
Krakusa is believed to have been constructed to honour the death of King Krakus, some even believing that it was the resting place of Krakow's mythical founder however to date no human remains have been found inside. Nevertheless it is a great place to climb up to see ever expanding views of the city and landscapes below.

Botanic Garden of the Jagiellonian University
Created back in 1779 it is Poland's oldest botanical garden, with roughly 5,000 plant species, the true spectacle is the 300-year-old Jagiellonian Oak which was part of a vast forest that used to cover the whole region.

Wawel Royal Castle
One could say that Wawel is Poland's take on Buckingham Palace and Westminster Abbey rolled into one. It is definitely a must visit attraction when visiting Krakow.

Alchemia
Flowing into different rooms, including a back room that looks like it was left untouched as an old kitchen. Alchemia is strikingly decorated with old paintings and furniture leftover, it is almost like walking into a time machine, complete with candlelight throughout the bar.

An hours walk from the city center lays a hidden turquoise lake, with some hidden surprises below including a bus, plane and other cars beneath the waters surface. A great area to rent some scuba diving equipment and explore the depths below or hike along the pathways to catch some rays and dive into the waters below.

An old hotel turned club cafe, with an expansive garden space on the banks of the Vistula river. Host to numerous events, concerts etc Forum always has something to offer. If your looking for a bar with a great food menu and some more interesting beers and cocktails Forum is a place to be.

The heart of the Jewish district in Krakow is lined with history, hidden bars and cafes. Walking down the streets and eating at the cafes definitely brings you back in time, while mixing into up and coming places that are opening up in the area.

A former tobacco factory which has been revitalized it now boasts numerous bars, cafes, clubs and restaurants, and provides a great atmosphere for a late lunch or evening out in Krakow.
