Hoboken
Hoboken has the more bars per capita than any city in the USA. This among other reasons, makes this community one of the most vibrantly involved and active that I've ever seen. From a soccer field on the Hudson, to movies in the park, Hoboken always has something going on.

Split
Croatia in general is super underrated for its nearby islands and beautiful coast. Split stands out to me because of how quaint it is and how friendly the locals are. Not only is the city within an old castle, the surrounding area is full of beautiful trails and secret beaches.
